Special children in rural areas have limited or no access to day care facilities that they need. Consequently, the children and their caregivers are under a bondage with the caregivers, who are already economically deprived, find little or no time for a regular job for their sustenance.
Krupa’s Arunodhaya centre offers them daycare thereby meeting the special child’s need, while also freeing the caregiver to take up a job or vocation to earn a living.
Arunodhaya centre has trained staff to care for these special children and to empower them to help them live in society with the limited abilities that they possess.
These children are provided a safe and nurturing ambience while their caregivers have the option of learning a new skill or vocation at the rural training centre.
